100 Muses

Drawing Challenge

I want to draw one hundred cards of my recent Muses series. And after that, it may be 100 of something else. I think after you draw something 100 times you’ll get good at it and perhaps get really creative in the process or learn something new. So that’s what I’m going to try to do. The first one was a surprise card for Cat Stevens Pratt, my artist friend up north. I named the card “The Muse.” The Muses in Greek mythology poetry and literature are the goddesses who inspire the creation of literature and the arts. So these will be ladies in the goddess tradition – though a recent one turned out to be a guy, that’s ok. And I don’t know why most have to have an animal with them, that’s just how the first one turned out so I continued.
