Hurricane Ike

Here is another Skyjules photo – (my mirrored cloud photos) taken just before Hurricane Ike hit Sugar Land (in September 08) Everyone was fleeing town only to get stuck in traffic. I didn’t think it was really going to be so bad here so I stayed. Turned out it really wasn’t too bad. We lost a lot of trees at my favorite park and some in the neighborhood. But all in all, we were safe and sound and without cell and internet service for about a week. Well, I had cell service if I drove a mile down the street and pulled in the parking lot and tilted my head just so… while praying…then I had service.

So I was taking photos of the odd bit of cloud formations from my bedroom window – it got darker and more colorful. Here is one that I liked – can you see the skull image in the center? Interesting how many times I come across skull images in my mirrored clouds. I like the purple in the clouds and how it resembles a crow flying.
